MAKUA VALLEY | O'ahu, Hawai'i

MAKUA VALLEY and the distant Makua Beach came from a dream where I stood at the mountain ridge, looking across the valley towards the ocean.  In the dream I experienced a strong assurance from a spiritual father that the people in the valley were under his loving care and protection.  In the Hawaiian language, makua translates to parent or someone of one's parent's generation.  As children, we longed for our parent's approval, encouragement, and recognition, and  as adults we sometimes still need that reassurance.  May you sense a father or mother's blessing as your eyes follow the lines to the sea and back again.
